Octaviano Angel Mora a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and Christian missionary, touching countless lives with his faith and generosity, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on January 18, 2025, at the age of 81.

Octaviano Angel Mora was born on July 16, 1943, in Alausi, Ecuador, to Angela Peñafiel. Octaviano lived a life full of love, adventure, and cherished memories, which he created with his family and friends.

He is also survived by his beloved wife, Vilma Antonia Mora; his daughters, Vilma Alexandra Cardona and Doris Elizabeth Swafford; and his sons, Douglas Mora and Paul Michael Mora; and by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. His legacy of love also lives on in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.

Octaviano’s deep faith and dedication was central to his life. As a Christian missionary, he served in many churches throughout his life, most recently at Holy Trinity in Woonsocket, RI.

Octaviano’s memory will be honored in celebration of life service at Keefe funeral home. 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI. Wake is on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. A Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Parish at 1409 Park Ave, Woonsocket, RI on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 12:00pm. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.


Octaviano Angel Mora, un amado padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y misionero cristiano que tocó innumerables vidas con su fe y generosidad, falleció en paz para estar con el Señor el 18 de enero de 2025, a la edad de 81 años.

Octaviano Angel Mora nació el 16 de julio de 1943 en Alausí, Ecuador, hijo de Angela Peñafiel. Octaviano vivió una vida llena de amor, aventuras y recuerdos preciados, que creó con su familia y amigos.

También le sobreviven su amada esposa, Vilma Antonia Mora; sus hijas, Vilma Alexandra Cardona y Doris Elizabeth Swafford; y sus hijos, Douglas Mora y Paul Michael Mora; y 8 nietos, 4 bisnietos. Su legado de amor también sigue vivo en sus nietos y bisnietos, quienes fueron su orgullo y alegría.

La profunda fe y dedicación de Octaviano fueron fundamentales en su vida. Como misionero cristiano, sirvió en muchas iglesias a lo largo de su vida, más recientemente en Holy Trinity en Woonsocket, RI.

La memoria de Octaviano será honrada en un servicio de celebración de la vida en la funeraria Keefe, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI. El velorio será el sábado 1 de febrero de 2025 de 1:00 p.m. a 3:00 p.m. La misa se llevará a cabo en la parroquia Holy Trinity en el 1409 Park Ave, Woonsocket, RI el domingo 2 de febrero de 2025 a las 12:00 p.m. Lo extrañaremos profundamente, pero nunca lo olvidaremos.
